If possible, measure directly on your body, and not on top of a layer of clothing
- If you measure on top of clothing, we recommend that you deduct about 0.5 inches down from your outer-clothing measurement to arrive at a proper proxy for on-the-body measurement
If your hips and upper thigh result in 2 adjacent different sizes, or if your hips fits in 2 different sizes, then we recommend that you choose the size based on your thigh
- For example, if your hip measurement is in size M (~36.5 inches), while your upper thigh is in size S (~21 inches), we recommend that you select size S
- Or if your hip measurement is in size L (~38.5 inches), while your upper thigh is in size XL & 2XL (~27 inches), we recommend that you select size XL
If your hips and upper thigh result in 2 different sizes that are not adjacent to each other (with one size in between), then we recommend that you choose the size in between
- For example, if your hip measurement is at the beginning of M (36 inches), while your upper thigh is in size XS (20 inches), we recommend that you select size S
